Flatbreads on water in a frying pan. Recipe without eggs: quick and easy

There is a huge culture of eating flatbreads that came to us from the countries of the East. In Central Asia, flatbreads are still revered much more than the typical loaf of bread.

Probably, such a strong respect for flatbreads is connected with the history of these peoples, as well as with culture and traditions. For example, flatbreads are not recommended to be cut with a knife. They are broken with hands.

You also can’t throw flatbreads in the trash – this is considered a sign of negligence and disrespect for bread.

It is worth telling how to make flatbreads with water and without eggs at home.

Ingredients for flatbreads:

  • Flour – 800 g;
  • Water – 500 ml;
  • Salt -1 tsp;
  • Sugar – 1 tbsp;
  • Yeast – 11 g;
  • Vegetable oil – 3 tbsp.

Making flatbreads:

In a bowl with warm water, pour sugar and salt – a heaping spoon each. Pour vegetable oil into the water and pour in the yeast, mix the ingredients thoroughly until the sand grains dissolve.

Sift the flour and add it to the yeast mixture in parts. Stir the dough constantly with a spoon. Knead the elastic, loose and slightly sticky dough with your hands.
