Ham and Grated Gruyere Cake
Ingredients:
- 200g flour
- 3 eggs
- 100ml milk
- 100ml vegetable oil
- 100g ham, diced
- 100g grated Gruyere
- 1 sachet baking powder
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Butter and flour for the mold
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (gas mark 6) and butter and flour a cake mold.
- In a bowl, beat the eggs with the milk and oil until smooth.
- Add the sifted flour and baking powder, then mix until smooth.
- Fold in the diced ham and grated Gruyere. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared cake mold.
- Bake for about 40 to 45 minutes, or until the cake is golden brown and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Allow the cake to cool slightly before removing it from the mold and slicing. Serve warm or at room temperature as an appetizer or as a main course with a side salad.
