Ham and Grated Gruyere Cake

Ingredients:

  • 200g flour
  • 3 eggs
  • 100ml milk
  • 100ml vegetable oil
  • 100g ham, diced
  • 100g grated Gruyere
  • 1 sachet baking powder
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Butter and flour for the mold

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (gas mark 6) and butter and flour a cake mold.
  2. In a bowl, beat the eggs with the milk and oil until smooth.
  3. Add the sifted flour and baking powder, then mix until smooth.
  4. Fold in the diced ham and grated Gruyere. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Pour the mixture into the prepared cake mold.
  6. Bake for about 40 to 45 minutes, or until the cake is golden brown and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  7. Allow the cake to cool slightly before removing it from the mold and slicing. Serve warm or at room temperature as an appetizer or as a main course with a side salad.
