Yogurt Cake

Ingredients:

  • 3 pots of flour
  • 2 pots of caster sugar
  • 0.5 packet of baking powder
  • 1 pot of plain yogurt
  • 0.5 pot of rapeseed oil
  • 2 eggs
  • Zest of 1 lemon

Preparation:

  1. Preheat Oven:
    • Preheat the oven to 180°C (thermostat 6).
  2. Mix Ingredients:
    • Mix the ingredients one by one in the following order:
      • Baking powder
      • Yogurt
      • Oil
      • Sugar
      • Flour
      • Eggs and lemon zest
  3. Prepare Cake Tin:
    • Butter or oil a cake tin using a sheet of kitchen paper.
  4. Pour Batter:
    • Pour the prepared batter into the cake tin.
  5. Bake:
    • Bake for about 30 minutes.
  6. Check for Doneness:
    • Check the cooking by inserting the tip of a knife (it should come out dry).
