Black Forest Cake

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Cake Batter:
    • In a mixing bowl, combine the Devil’s food cake mix with eggs, oil, and water. Mix until well combined and smooth.
  2. Assemble the Cake:

    • Grease and flour a Bundt pan.
    • Pour the prepared cake batter into the Bundt pan.
    • Spoon the cherry pie filling over the cake mix, distributing it evenly.
  3. Bake the Cake:
    • Bake the cake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  4. Cool and Serve:
    • Allow the cake to cool in the pan.
    • Once cooled, top the cake with whipped cream or Cool Whip just before serving.
