Cornstarch cookie pavé recipe and other delicious versions

Preparation mode

Cream

  1. In a saucepan, add the milk and dissolve the cornstarch. Add the condensed milk, egg yolk, cream and vanilla essence. Bring to a low boil and stir until thickened.
  2. When it starts to turn brown, turn off the heat and transfer to a container. Cover with plastic wrap and wait for it to cool completely.
  3. After it has cooled, make a layer of cream in a bowl. Then, put a little milk on a plate, dip the cornstarch biscuits in it and make another layer with them as well. Be careful not to soak them too much.
  4. Make another layer of cream and another layer of biscuits soaked in milk. Keep repeating this process until you finish with the last layer of cream. Put it in the fridge and leave it for 2 hours.

Ganache

  • In another pan, add the cream and stir over low heat until lukewarm. Add the chopped chocolate and stir until it forms a syrup. Remove from heat and pour over the cold pavé. Refrigerate for 2 hours.
