How to prepare datterini tomatoes in oil
- Cut the garlic cloves into thin slices and place them in sterilized jars. Add fresh basil leaves, salt, oregano, a drop of vinegar and extra virgin olive oil.
- Wash the cherry tomatoes
- Dry well and cut in half.
Add a few cherry tomatoes to the jars. - . Add garlic, oregano, basil, vinegar and oil.
- Repeat the operation to fill the jars completely. Brush the cherry tomatoes with oil
- Close the jars with lids
- Dip them in boiling water for 30 minutes to seal them.
Serve the cherry tomatoes with bread or as desired.
Storage
Datterini tomatoes can be stored for a few months in the pantry, away from light and humidity. As soon as you open the jar, keep the tomatoes in oil tightly closed for 3 or 4 days in the refrigerator.
