Ingredients:
1 cup red lentils
2 cups water
1 onion, finely chopped
1 carrot, grated
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon cumin

Instructions:
Soak the Lentils:
Rinse the red lentils under cold water and soak them in 2 cups of water for about 2-3 hours, or until they’re soft.
Prepare the Batter:
