Low Carb Wonton Soup

Instructions:

1. In a mixing bowl, combine the ground chicken or turkey, chopped green onions, minced garlic, grated ginger, soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all the ingredients are thoroughly combined.

2. Lay out a wonton wrapper on a clean surface or cutting board. Place about 1 teaspoon of the filling in the center of the wrapper. Moisten the edges of the wrapper with water and fold it in half diagonally to form a triangle. Press the edges firmly to seal the wonton. Repeat with the remaining wrappers and filling.

3. In a large pot, bring the chicken broth to a boil over medium heat. Add the sliced mushrooms, bok choy or Napa cabbage, sliced green onions, soy sauce, and sesame oil. Stir well and let the soup simmer for about 5 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.

4. Gently drop the wontons into the simmering soup. Cook them for about 5-7 minutes, or until they float to the surface and the filling is cooked through.

5. Once the wontons are cooked, remove the pot from the heat. Ladle the Low Carb Wonton Soup into bowls, making sure to distribute the wontons, vegetables, and broth evenly.

6. Garnish with fresh cilantro leaves, if desired.

7. Serve the soup hot and enjoy the delicious flavors of the low-carb wontons and the aromatic broth.
