Pecan Praline Cake

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to the temperature recommended on the cake mix box. Grease a 9×13 baking dish.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the yellow cake mix, oil, eggs, water, and coconut pecan frosting. Mix until smooth.
  3. Fold in the 1/2 cup of finely chopped pecans.
  4. Spread the batter evenly into the prepared baking dish.
  5. Bake for about 40 minutes or until the cake is cooked through.
  6. While the cake is baking, prepare the topping: In a pot over medium heat, combine the butter and sweetened condensed milk. Stir until the butter has melted.
  7. Remove the mixture from heat and stir in the chopped pecans.
  8. Once the cake is done, while it’s still warm, spread the topping mixture over the cake.
