Potato Bread for Breakfast
Ingredients:
For the Dough:
- 2 tea glass-sized portions of flour (each glass approximately 140 grams)
- 1 teaspoon of salt (about 4 grams)
- 1 glass of milk (90 ml)
- 10 grams of butter
For the Filling:
- 2 medium-sized potatoes
- 3 glasses of water (600 ml)
- 2 tablespoons of mayonnaise (30 grams)
- 300 grams of Cheddar cheese
Instructions:
- Preparing the Dough:
- In a mixing bowl, combine milk and butter. Stir well.
- Mix flour and salt in another bowl. Knead the dough until it is soft. Cover and let it rest for 15 minutes.
- Making the Filling:
- Cook the potatoes until soft, then mash them into a smooth paste.
- Mix the mashed potatoes with mayonnaise and salt until well combined.
- Assembling the Bread:
- Roll out the dough using a rolling pin.
- Sprinkle Cheddar cheese over the dough, then spread the mashed potato mixture on top. Add more Cheddar cheese.
- Fold the edges of the dough together and roll it out again.
- Cooking the Bread:
- Heat and grease a pan. Cook the bread on both sides until golden brown.
- Serving:
- Cut the bread into slices and serve.
