Potato Bread for Breakfast

Ingredients:

For the Dough:

  • 2 tea glass-sized portions of flour (each glass approximately 140 grams)
  • 1 teaspoon of salt (about 4 grams)
  • 1 glass of milk (90 ml)
  • 10 grams of butter

For the Filling:

  • 2 medium-sized potatoes
  • 3 glasses of water (600 ml)
  • 2 tablespoons of mayonnaise (30 grams)
  • 300 grams of Cheddar cheese

Instructions:

  1. Preparing the Dough:
    • In a mixing bowl, combine milk and butter. Stir well.
    • Mix flour and salt in another bowl. Knead the dough until it is soft. Cover and let it rest for 15 minutes.
  2. Making the Filling:
    • Cook the potatoes until soft, then mash them into a smooth paste.
    • Mix the mashed potatoes with mayonnaise and salt until well combined.
  3. Assembling the Bread:
    • Roll out the dough using a rolling pin.
    • Sprinkle Cheddar cheese over the dough, then spread the mashed potato mixture on top. Add more Cheddar cheese.
    • Fold the edges of the dough together and roll it out again.
  4. Cooking the Bread:
    • Heat and grease a pan. Cook the bread on both sides until golden brown.
  5. Serving:
    • Cut the bread into slices and serve.
  6. Enjoy:
