Directions:

  1. Prepare the Sausage:

  2. Make the Gravy:
    • Sprinkle flour over the cooked sausage, stirring it in, and cook for about 2 minutes.
    • Gradually pour in the milk while stirring constantly.
    • Increase the heat to medium-high and bring the mixture to a boil.
    • Reduce the heat and simmer until the gravy thickens (around 5 minutes).
    • Season the gravy with salt, pepper, and sage.
  3. Preheat and Prepare:
    • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
    • Arrange the biscuits in a single layer in a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  4. Assemble and Bake:
    • Pour the sausage gravy over the biscuits in the baking dish.
    • Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until the biscuits turn golden brown.
