Spinach Quiche

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Crust:
    • In a large bowl, mix the flour and salt. Add the cold, cubed butter and use a pastry cutter or your fingers to blend the butter into the flour until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
    • In a small bowl, beat the egg and cold water. Gradually add this mixture to the flour-butter mixture, stirring until the dough comes together.
    • Shape the dough into a disk, wrap it in plastic wrap, and chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Preheat the Oven:
    • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  3. Prepare the Filling:

    • Spread the spinach mixture over the crust, then sprinkle with shredded cheese. Pour the egg mixture over the top.

    • Place the quiche in the preheated oven and bake for about 30-35 minutes, or until the filling is set and the crust is golden brown.
